Class Evaluation
- The things that I most liked about this class were the motivating quotes that we had to reflect on.
- The things that I did not like about the class were that we didn't really have a chance to speak up or have our own opinions.
- My only recommendation is that we should have topics that we can give our opinions about.
- A highlight for me in the class was the final day when Mr. Haymore gave the speech on the last day of school.
- Honestly, I believe that I could have done better in this class but it was just my laziness that made me slack off, if I get into the AP class, I promise to do 10 times better.
- I dont read it everyday because I dont have a lot of time on my hands but when I do, I read it.
- I am not committed to being a ctr person because i find it hard. On certain this, I am trying to be a ctr person.
- I have learned to be a person who treats people the way I would like to be treated.
- I will always remember the people in the class and the amazing quotes.

A day in which those who died in active military service are remembered.

Memorial Day started as an event to honor Union soldiers, who had died during the American Civil War. It was inspired by the way people in the Southern states honored their dead. After World War 1, it was extended to include all men and women, who died in any war or military action.

The 12 Principles of Highly Successful Leaders
- Be true to character
2. Use your imagination
3.Apply the power of knowledge
4.Never give up
I believe that it is very important to never give up because it challenges you to keep going. Once you give up, some people just stop trying because they think that it is too difficult. Once you set your mind to something you should always keep going because you can do it. Never giving up gives you motivation to reach your goals. Some goals are going to require hard work and dedication but if you really want it you can reach that goal.

5.Find peace and balance
To me, finding peace and balance means to be calm. Its important to keep your mind at bay so that you won't feel so stressed out. So much stress can be very bad on the human body so it is important to relax and stay balanced. Being balanced to me means that you are in order and you aren't losing your "cool".

6.Live the Golden Rule
Living the golden rule is very important in life. It teaches everyone that you should treat others the way you would like to be treated. For example, if I were to go out to the mall and start telling people bad things and start a fight for no reason, I wouldn't like that if someone did that to me. The golden rule teaches you to respect others. You wouldn't like it if someone was talking to you in a rude manner.

Reflection:
These benefits can help you very much in your life. They teach you how to be a better person and how to make sure you look like a better person. They teach you that you should not lie to people because that is the wrong thing to do. To me, i listen to Tip 6 because it helps me when i want to twist the truth a bit and i end up catching myself and i realize that its still a lie even if i am telling the truth partially. When i write my life planning goals, i make sure that i am writing things that i actually want to do and that i am not writing things just for fun without actually doing them.

How the internet works
How the internet works
The internet can be a very fascinating place. I have learned how the internet works and how we are able to communicate with other people around the world. For example, when we try to communicate with people in other countries, there are these fiber glass wires that run across the bottom of the ocean. In those fiber glass wires are a beam of light which contains a message or whatever you want to send someone. That message is bounced in between that wire at the speed of light, which is very fast. I have also learned that every computer has a certain number which is called an IP address. This number helps other computers figure out who is sending them a message and who they should also send it back to. There are many hackers in the world. Some can be adults trying to get information from someone or it can be a regular teenager just trying to show off. There are also many receivers in the world that help manage certain things. For example, if you are searching something that ends with .org, it will send it to the .org receiver and in return, you will get sent to the right place that you are looking for.
